How doctors, nurses and other health care workers are battling infections

A new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reveals how the number of infections linked to healthcare workers is on the rise.

More than a third of new infections linked with healthcare workers were traced back to a single patient, up from 29 percent in 2016.
